Thank you for the information! I was waiting to see if this fit with the dominion Hi Lift jack mount. I like this mount better than the others on the market.

I was worries about it fitting with my jack also, but it did thankfully.

I like the idea, but has anyone tried this on a 2-door. The Cool Tech rep thinks it should work, but it looks to me that the roll bar on the 2-door has a lot more curvature between the mounting points.

I'll try and find someone with a two door and check it out.

I’ve been looking at all the solutions out there and this by far is the cleanest solution out there. Not sure I’m ready to chip away some paint though...

Nah, you won't have to chip away any paint! The bracket is above the painted roll bar and will incorporate a rubber bumper that sits against the roll bar - for redundant stability. We should have the brackets here soon. Trying to work through the process to be able to ship Fire Extinguishers which are classified as HAZ MAT (pressurized gas). Go figure.

what about the self-tapping screw that goes into the painted frame (6:20 in the video)? Would it be possible to use a dowel pin for location and then 3M VHB tape onto the paint? That way it's removable but secure?

If there's no damage, I'm on board!

I would like to use a silver Fire Extinguisher... can you ship Extinguisher or purchase just the plate?

I also have a Two Door if you need a test fit.

Thanks

That OEM "boss" on the roll bar is not threaded. All we do is thread it. If you decide to remove later, you simply have a threaded hole. If that's objectionable, just put the bolt back in it!

Yeah, for sure we will have plate and bracket as an option (source your own fire extinguisher). Worst case, that may be the only option we have!

Just put in my pre order.
I had several cooltech products on my jk and the engineering is top notch.
