Controller mount locations

Where is a safe spot to mount controller on my redarc? The switch is on my dash, but, I can’t find a reasonable spot to attach it. Can I drill into this aluminum brace? Any other common locations?

Feels impossible to fit there unless I get self drilling screws.

Update. Installed on horizontal bracket below steering column. There’s two. The one closest to driver behind the panel would have worked if I didn’t have heated steering. If you have heated steering there’s a part blocking the fit. The second one is further back but just as easy to access.
