I bought some square LEDs that have built in DRLs in them. I would like them to be on the same circuit as the fender DRLs so they can be toggled on/off in the settings. How should I do this? My Jeep has the LED package if that helps with anything.

That was my original plan but not sure which wire it would be.
I don’t have the LED package so I don’t know from experience, but I assume it’s the white wire...

I just remembered the red/yellow/blue wires are for the morimoto lights, which I no longer have as they didn't work well.

I did find this thread but no update since November :( : https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/fender-light-wiring-schematic-diagram.16392/
In the link you just posted above..
“On the 5 wire to the DRL/Turns...the white and green striped wire powers the turn signal. The white with brown stripe wire powers the DRL through any lighting function, be it parking lights, DRLs or actual lights. Black is ground.”

So white with brown stripe then?

From what I understand, the ability to turn off the DRL won't work with that wire. Seems like he was trying to figure out what the other 2 wires were, with one possibly controlling the DRL state. I guess it may not even be possible to have the aftermarket lights to be controlled by the DRL settings...

EDIT: just found this - https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/JL-Wiring-Diagrams/LAMP-DRL-RIGHT-PREMIUM-connector-details.pdf

so maybe it will work. I'll give it a shot tomorrow.

Ok I see what you are saying, this is probably beyond my expertise then, you only got 1 positive wire lead for your square LEDs DRL no? I would assume it makes more sense that DRL is controlled via the Jeep’s computer/control module and that will decide whether or not to sends power to the DRL wire, seems like a simple solution than having a separate wire sending signal to the individual assemblies... again, I have no idea what I’m talking about just speculating.
