Is the standard roof 1 solid piece hard to remove and store or is it 3 pieces easy to take off like the 1300 option?

The standard hard top is 3 pieces. The two panels above the driver/passenger and everything aft of that is one piece. If you don't buy a lift of some kind you will need 2-3 people to help take off and on. The dual top option provides you with a soft top, in addition to the hard top, you have to install. This is also much easier to accomplish with two people but can be done alone.

There are really only 3 different tops available:

• Freedom hard top (3 piece hard top)
• Soft top
• Sky one-touch

Of those 3 tops, there are several variants.

Freedom top has either textured black or painted versions.
The soft top has "premium" and "non-premium" versions, and tan and black versions.

Dual-top group on a 392 gets you the painted hard top and a premium soft top. The soft-top is shipped packaged inside the vehicle and takes up basically all space except for the passenger and driver's seats.


The freedom top front panels can be replaced with the sunrider, which is a soft-top that covers the area just above the driver and front passenger, leaving the rear hard top in place.
