For anyone wondering like I was, I pulled the build sheet on my Sahara 4XE and the Dana M220/210 Wide Axles are standard equipment. Nice!

I am curious as well.
I think D44 axles front and rear are desirable because that is mentioned frequently in the list of features included with the Rubicon variant.

The wide part I am not sure about. I thought those were for the Gladiator because it is more like a truck buy obviously the wide axles must fit the JL also?

I did look under my HA and it does have D44 up front. Or appears that way by looking at the cover style. There also is some contraption on the right axle tube that looks like a disconnect device. I think the front axle can disconnect from the gear set carrier which probably helps with mileage.

I actually played around with that yesterday. Power output in 2H was about 30 kW then I switched to 4H Auto and it increased to 31-32 kW (bounced around between those two figures...)

so if I bought a 4XE sahara, I just need add the electonice lockers and 4.10 gears then it's a rubicon?

No offroad+ or red dash on the 4XE...

I am not very conversant on 4xe functionality. Perhaps what off road+ offers on an IC Rubicon is already part of the functionality of the hybrid?

We’ll, that’s just your loss not getting that sweet sweet red dash.😜
