Fitzpatrick’s in Ansonia, CT has a Rubi (demo/trainer - not for sale) in their showroom. They sent me some pictures (I have a 2 door on order with them.)

(Not yet confirmed) JLU Sport S, no other details, salesman said they have it. I was unable to locate it yet.

Sold to it says dealer name address.... at the bottom it says type of order sold: my name and address... window sticker will say custom built for yada yada.

If they have it notated as a sold order, and the car is in your name ( or the order is), your name will be on the window sticker

Why not just get the hitch and wiring harness from quadratec?

Because it's not like the old days when it was a little bolt on hitch and 3' of wire. The tow package includes the four auxillary switches on the dash now.

Maybe my thinking is wrong but I am assuming that the Factory Installed Hitch will be better than an aftermarket add on; weld vs bolt on. Also not sure of the other things electric wise that they do.

The factory JK hitch was bolt on, I'd imagine the JL is the same.

While I think there will be much better hitches from the aftermarket, the draw of the tow package is the bigger alternator/battery and auxiliary switches.

What kind of deal were they doing on your 2 door

I have Affiliate pricing through work, so 1% below invoice. I see all the 5% below threads on this forum, but to be perfectly honest 1% below with no need to haggle is a great deal in my book. My time and energy are worth a lot to me, and I'm not about to deal with the hassle an out of state purchase or with long drives, calls, e-mails to other dealerships in CT.

I ended up at Fitzpatrick's because they had a JK Rubi manual on their lot over the summer. I test drove it, but then found out about the JL's imminent release. Mark, the owner's son, was great to deal with (no pressure, extremely prompt communication) and he followed up with me when the JL order banks opened up. In short, Mark provided good service so he gets my business.
