Bone stock.
Ah figured but good to know thanks!

Also sorry I forgot you asked about buying new vs this one. They are asking just under $50k. 2021 Rubicon 4xe 13k miles, CPO, Black Rhino Arsenal with 35" Nitto trail grapplers, trail cam, trailer/towing pkg, cold weather group, 8.4" screen, LEDs, so really well optioned BUT cloth seats (totally fine with that) and soft top only. Used to have some nice power side steps but those are gone now. I'm hoping I can get them around $50k OTD max otherwise I'll keep looking since that's the max I want to spend. I am open to new however I've mostly been looking at 2021-2022 Willys with XR but came across this well optioned low mile 4xe with 35s pretty close to me and under budget.

Just a note, the 8.4 and LEDs were standard on the 21 4xe Rubi. No tax credit (too expensive).

I'd recommend at least looking at a discount dealer and ordering new. Or, if the May rebates are in your area, the 23 Willys and Sahara 4xe leased and stacked with the automatic $7500 tax credit would likely get under $50 pretty easy.

I think I've been hyper focused on used plus looking for something with the XR pkg since it comes with 35s and all the components are factory warrantied. I assumed new would be well out of range and didn't even think about leasing or ordering but those sound like great options along with checking for rebates/incentives. Looks like I've got some more research to do!

Morning All! New here and in the process of making a deal on a 2021 Rubicon 4xe w/aftermarket wheels and lift that's been listed for 4 months. Anything in particular I should look for or test? I've had a drive already and it seems good except for a few issues (not a mechanic), alignment (pulls to the left), brake noise (at very low speeds), oil residue on rear shocks (not sure if it's a leak or road spray), clipped wires under the passenger side doors (possibly from some auxiliary addition that was removed?), open recall ZB7 (very surprised this wasn't handled already). This Jeep is CPO via the listing Dodge/Ram dealership and they agreed to take it down the road to an unaffiliated Jeep dealership to have my concerns checked out plus a general once over PPI of sorts. Just looking for any advice on what to look for with Jeeps in general and the 4xe in particular. Thanks!
lmao wait ... that's considered "certified" pre-owned?

There are so many used Jeeps available. Even with what we'd consider "rare" options. I see zero reason to buy one with this many issues.

24s the XR is now the X package, except the 4xe X where it doesn’t have 35s.

Check the spreadsheet in @Ratbert ’s signature. 24 pricing is in the 2024 Order Guide Thread.

Hi dcm80401. I get that, I was originally looking at the Willys with XR but came across this CPO 4xe with 35s on the Rubicon lift but since I was unfamiliar with those I though I'd ask some Q's.

Haha I was thinking the same thing! I also found it really odd that they didn't have the recall sorted months ago (along with the other concerns of course being CPO). I'll likely walk away, or risk spending a lot of time at the shop!

I had to check it out though considering what I'm looking for and what's near me.

Good to know and I haven't even thought about the 24s yet. I may check with a dealership nearby just to explore that option so I have a better range of comparison between the 2021s and up.

24 order banks are open, but the plant hasn’t switched over yet. So none on lots.

I’ll second this assessment. Here’s a link to the FCA CPO checklist as archived on cars.com. Real CPO has weight - there is a warranty with those.

https://www.cars.com/cldstatic/ads/cpo/inspection/chrysler-dodge-jeep-ram-inspection.pdf

Personally, I’d walk away and look for something in better shape. If you’re dead set on it, I would at least ask to review the CPO list and any other paperwork associated with the trade in (what parts got taken off, any repairs, etc…)

Hi sentience, thanks for the link and info that's super helpful!

I agree, for CPO this should have been in much better shape and perhaps a few too many red flags.

I'm also wondering why this Dodge/Ram dealer that can "certify" a Jeep either couldn't remedy the recall themselves or just take it down the road to the Jeep dealer and have it completed.

I haven't counted it out just yet since it's pretty close to me and still under the factory warranty but I'll certainly keep looking as this one moves down my list a bit.

Thanks!

Ah yes of course and I didn't see 24s as an option on the Jeep website either so I'm assuming you have to go to a dealership to order. I thought there would be a configurator for the 24s online but not yet I guess. Thanks!
