I've been trying to track down a poping sound and pattern based vibration for the past month now coming from the rear of the Jeep.
Note: 2018 JLUS 3.6 w/LSD Rear
The poping sound only ever occurs when in 1st gear while starting from a dead stop. It happens infrequently and usually "pops" at about 1/2 clutch travel. The sound is akin to something poping loose that was bound and has a metallic sound. It's normally felt through the body of the Jeep only.
The vibration normally occurs at a lower speed and is somewhat infrequent. Though it can be felt stronger after the Jeep has been sitting for a while (i.e. overnight). It is also only felt through the body and is somewhat harmonic.
I've checked the driveshaft, control arms, springs, sway bar and track bar. Nothing seems out of place or improperly torqued.
While rotating the tires the other day, I noticed the following sound when spinning either real wheel (video below).
Apologies for the shit video movement, but can anyone confirm if this is a "normal" sound and/or if it might be something of concern?
