Concealed Air Fitting in the JL Fuel Door

For anyone looking to clean up an existing on board air setup, or just add another convenient/concealed air fitting on their JL, we are now offering our JL Fuel Door Air Fitting Kit separate from our full JLU OBA kit. This kit slightly relocates your fuel filler neck to the aft of the JL in order to make room for the included push button air connection. We love the push button air connections; way better then the common "push to connect" fittings that sometimes result in an accidental disconnect upon connection in my opinion. This is a perfect way to finish off any on board air setup!

There's some drilling and trimming/dremling of plastic required, however the included cutting template makes it pretty straight forward.

This kit includes a stainless steel fuel door plate, push-button style air hose socket, bulkhead through wall fitting, mounting hardware, and a reducer to allow the bulkhead fitting to work with the most common size lines used to supply air. Your factory fuel cap, and fuel door are reused.

Brett - Sorry to revive an old thread.

What parts did you use to run the air hose from the inside to the fuel door? I want to protect the hose from heat. Also, where did you run it from inside to out? Did you use a drainplug?

I have my twin ARB mounted with the MORE mount in the rear and am getting tired of hooking up to the air chuck in the trunk. Wanting to run it to the fuel door or to a chuck mounted on the rear bumper.
