Elite Series Fog Lamps are right in line with our SS3 Sport regarding performance.

Measured Lumen Output:
ES 1850 lm vs SS3 1520 lm

Peak Intensity:
ES 10200 cd vs SS3 10600 cd

However, our Elite Series Fog Lamps utilize a custom-engineered patent-pending optic that delivers an extremely sharp cut-off, wide beam pattern, and unique BMW style color banding.

Were there any comparisons done to the stock led pair I missed?

I don't have a comparison on hand of the factory LED fog light on hand. Sorry about that!

Hi John, hope your well and love your products! I ordered the DD Stage Series Max 3inch Fog Light Kit. So how do these rate with the new ones? Btw, on the OEM Steel Bumper anyway to make a better mount as the mount you currently make is not very user friend! Just a thought from a medical enginee….

That correct!

Our Elite Series Fog Lamps are a direct bolt-on replacement that are 99% plug-and-play.

However, the included backlight feature does require tapping to a 12v power source of your choice.

Yes my friend. There’s the plastic four that goes around the light then the metal that mounts the light to the bumper. Wish the brackets were more robust like OEM
