The Badge of Honor trails are all over the US. If you have completed a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail, let us know your opinion about the trail and post up some pics and or video of the trail so that others can see and know what to expect from the trail.

Please Include in your post the trail name or number or both, approximately what time of the year you did the trail and tell the story.

Windrock Offroad Park near Knoxville, TN Trail #26 is the Badge Trail I took there, and there are two other badge trails that I did not get to.

This was March 30, 2019. Conditions were dry, but this was after a long period of rain so there were a lot of closed trails in the park. After we got through part of trail 26 we found out everything on the bottom end of the trail was closed off so we diverted to an adjoining trail to finish off. Overall the parts I did on 26 were doable with a stock Sahara. I did bang my rear bumper coming off of a rock face but other than that I don't think it is overly difficult. I did get some weird looks from some people for bringing a Stock Sahara but She ran great!

So a couple of us completed the South Marble Head Loop on Drummond Island, in Michigan last weekend. Drummond Island itself is about the best off roading that Michigan has to offer. There is a lot mud, and water and so rock steps out at Marble Head. This can be done with a stock Jeep. It is best to have recovery gear with you as the mud can be deep in spots. There is easily three days of wheeling to do on the Island.

Looking at the list, I’ve done 14-15 of those trails. No interest in the badges though, not my thing.

Some are legit trails, some are a joke. Anyone who has driven “Snake” at Hot Springs, AR knows it is mostly a access road to other, more fun trails. Pretty sure you could do it in a Kia.

I don’t think Jeep places the title of BoH on trails just for difficulty. Some are for historical significance, some scenery, and some technical. I think Jeep wants to have a broad range of trails so that all types of Jeeps are able to participate - from a stock Sport all the way to a dedicated trail rig.

Once I get back in the country, I’ll post pics and trail reports from the Badge trails I’ve run.

Yeah, I think they want any Jeep model to be able to get some of the easier badge trails. Renegades or Compasses on the light ones and then modded rigs on the hard trails.

I’m sure you are right, I just never understood the allure of being out in nature and fumbling with a phone to sign in, or plaster my rig with those eyesore badges. But, I’m different than most on this forum. Y’all carry on and enjoy. That’s what’s important.

Snake - Hot Springs ORV Park; Hot Springs, AR

Fun trail, not too difficult but not boring.

Rubicon Ridge - Hot Springs ORV Park; Hot Springs, AR

The steep descent at the beginning of the trail was a little daunting to a beginner, but once undertaken wasn’t as bad as it initially seemed. Some loose rock, some narrow sections, a few moderately steep inclines and declines, a few tight switchbacks. I enjoyed it.

Fun Run - Hot Springs ORV Park; Hot Springs, AR

Short and sweet. I think start to finish it took about 20-25 minutes maximum, stopping a couple of times to assess and for photos. There’s one semi steep rock ascent but it’s not technical or difficult. This trail won’t really challenge you much but as the name says, it was fun.

Great thread idea, thanks. I'm curious to see the trails in Oregon, since they're the only ones near enough for me to do without having to vacation without the whole family . . .

Same! I never heard of this until this thread. I downloaded the app and plan on doing the Tillamook trails they have.

They are rated as a "4". Does anybody know how difficult that is in reality? My JLU Sport S is pretty stock.
