Colors missing from build tool

Does it actually mean anything? Ive been talking with criswell about ordering a bikini JLUR. Today bikini is not an option on the jeep build website. I emailed Criswell and an getting nervous ill be out of luck ordering.

Several people have commented on that. Just like Mojito and Punk'n. Maybe means they are gearing up for the new 2021 colors.

They were able to for me. But this was over a week ago. Someone else on the forum tried to order one on tuesday of last week and was unable to

Thanks for the reply! Glad to hear you were able to get your order in. Dealers are telling me it is discontinued and can't order my rubicon in that color, so I guess i'll just keep my old jeep.

There are a lot of bikini Jeep at dealers today. Find one of them.

The article called it mid-year change, as in middle of calendar year not middle of model year, I guess.

I'd say Ocean Blue is a fun color too, but now it's gone as well

This is sad because I've been in the market for a JL and just missed ordering an Ocean Blue by a week and a half
On the upside, my wife is encouraging me pick a base color and get it repainted once we take delivery. I'm thinking hydro blue now...

Definitely not easy to repaint a Wrangler a different color since so much of the interior is exposed body color.

I noticed that along with a new red from another post, but those were all "late availability", so who knows how long I'd be waiting. Plus it was also pointed out that a yet unreleased model "Islander" would be making a return... so could the blue be relegated to only that trim model? Kind of like how that purple only came out for the Backcountry edition of the JK in 2016.

I have given thought to wrapping it, but read that may only last 5-7 years. I generally keep vehicles for a while, so I'd have to wrap it 2 or 3 times. As a trade off, maybe I can do a two tone, keep the base white, but add blue highlights (like 4" bars at the bottom door edge and and trim around the hood). That way I get blue and the interior can stay put (that was a good point nerubi).
