Yes, if you search for it, you will see their stock unit, that does install in the stock location. Like you said, it is low and risk of hitting that pricey bad boy on a rock. But, they have the flip kit, to change the metal plate for the tie rod connector, thus putting it above the tie rod and now no risk of rocks. It’s the best of both worlds, high quality ATS style stabilizer, and mounted up high. I agree on the price, it was tough to swallow, but I want perfect and smooth steering.

The Synergy brace is cool. It just came out. Pony tail did a video on it. Long time ago, Rusty came out with theirs, which I have had for a while.

Still messing with the Jeep...

After playing with tire pressure and even swapping the front tires, I still have a bit of push toward driver's side. Wes from Trail Jeeps suggested I take off the steering stabilizer. I guess if they are too strong they can "push" steering a little bit?

Anyway, I'll find out today if I should have just kept the stock steering stabilizer. Once Metalcloak comes out with their adjustable shocks tuned for their springs I'll likely be selling the RockSports all at once.
Hey! Where did you see/find out that MC will be offering adjustable shocks tuned for their springs?

You...you.......

Lol jk. Hopefully it'll be soon, as I need to head up to their shop in the next month or so.
Maybe you can dig up more info? I like the ride of the Rocksports, but would really like to stiffen it up for the road a bit more. :dunno:

Lamin-X Jeep Wrangler JL Amber Fog Light Covers

Pulling the end cap wasn't necessary. All you have to do is unplug the fog light and take out two 10mm screws.

After a bit of cleaning, Spray the laminate with a bit of soapy water and position on the fog light.

I found that a heat gun came in handy to form the laminate over the lamp's dome shape.

Here you can clearly see the difference. I really think fogs should come amber from the factory. Their job is to cut through fog, dust, and snow right?

Done! Now a couple of days to cure completely.

Total time was about 15-20 minutes including time to take a couple of pictures and to clean up. Easy to do and I think it has great results.

Powertank 2 Door Wrangler JL Sports Bar Mount

I ordered while it was listed as a pre-order, but got it within a couple of days. So the above link may change.

A372B34F-30E4-4659-B5E7-B9CD1CA0779A.jpeg

I mounted as instructed but found the clasp was in against the window with the Powertank sticker right side up.

This would be a problem over time, so I flipped the mount upside down.

This was a far better solution. While I was at it I noticed the missing bolt above was rubbing into the sport bar's paint.

Not happy, but easy to touch up.

An easy fix would be to cut them down a bit before install :like:

Once installed, it's easy to see that I will not be able to use this mount with the Bestop NX soft top (fastback). At least, not while the windows are in. :(

Two bolts secure the whole setup to the sports bar. Easy peasy and when not in use it's easily removed to store in the basement. :handsinair:

Nice. I got mine a couple of days ago. It's for the driver's side though so I don't think I'll have a problem with the clasp. Were the bolts hitting the sport bar after you flipped it or before? or both?

The bolts hit either way, but my dumbass didn't take the whole thing down to flip the tank mount. So while I tightened the bolt down it dug into the paint even more. Just be sure to shorten the bolts close to the sport bar before you mount it.

Cool. Appreciate the heads-up. Kind of disappointing PT didn't catch that though.

Gary - you are going to have a Homer Simpson moment after I tell you this...

The nuts go on the inside of the Power Tank bracket. They clear the tank when it's secured in there. With the button heads on the outside toward the roll bar, there is much more clearance.

That being said one of the button heads is going to hit the roll bar with any kind of bump. I'll probably put something between the 2 before driving with it.

D'oh! It's right there in their mounted pictures too.
