Also decided to delete the muffler while I was at it.

That spot where the muffler goes would make a great place to build a mount for a air compressor. I don't want mine in the cab, and the engine bay just has no room. For now I have a portable one that works great, but ultimately I want a good ARB dual set up with small tank. I would not want a full delete kit, but maybe one of the aftermarket cat back systems would also leave room somewhere.

Powertank is also nice, but I like having onboard air.

There is room in the engine compartment. I had an ARB twin mounted on the left side below the brake booster on my 2018 JL. @Kansascoast was making brackets to mount them there.

Was heat not an issue? Here in AZ the engine compartment is like a brick oven in the summer. With the engine bay already cramped I would think that would struggle.

Update: One year and 10,780 miles later, and I still love this Jeep.

The welds were fine. I did have some stereo glitches that the update would have fixed but the dealership couldn't get the patch to apply. So they replaced it! I've added bigger tires, soft top, some damping, and all is still well.

Skids installed and I’m happy with it. Close to the exhaust but no rattles and it looks protected now.

Did you have any fitment issues with the exhaust loop skid? Mine does not fit. Everything lines up except the CA hole. I'm waiting for a response from EVO, but wanted some ammo if they tried to pull the it's not for a 2 door crap which they already mentioned to me on the phone.

My exhaust loop skid didn't give me any issues other than being really close as I showed. No rattling and all is well so far after the slight trim required to avoid crushing the fuel tank skid.

Removed Trim-Lok rubber tubing seal as it was simply collecting dust and acting as sandpaper.

So I'll just pick the little rocks out as needed.
I see you have the Warn winch and also the Mopar grill/winch guard. One review I saw of the grill/winch guard is it won't fit over the Warn winch. Seems you got it to fit :)

Any problems?

Sorry to hijack … I have the same setup and had no issues fitting the Warn winch guard over the Warn winch. I'm using the Warn winch plate.

I went through 3 mounts (see previous post), but the last one had no issues at all with fitment. I won't lie though, it's tight.

Shoes: I recently put together my second set with the stock KO2’s and Sport wheels. Going back to stock size, there is a noticeable improvement in acceleration and braking. This will do until I figure out what lift is right for me and how to carry the 96 lb spare.

I'm also considering a wheel change to go with the Patagonias. I still like the AEV Borah but also really like the look of the Mopar 77072494AB Slotted Off-Road Wheels. Running with the Sport wheels has me also thinking that the Mopar 77072471AB Gear Wheel in Satin Carbon may fit Wanderer better?

With no AEV bumper in sight, I have decided to get the Mopar reinforcement kit so can keep running these heavy beasts:

I'm also seriously considering getting the Metalcloak bumpers, sliders, and lift. I always did love the ride their kit gives.
