Hahahahaha ooooooh, for the fender flares huh, my advice, go wheeling and knock em off enough the rocks fall out! Lol

! if it was only that easy, went on a nice drive last night up into the mountains on some local fire roads and then one little trail back into an area that overlooked the valley, and sure enough there is more pebbles to clean out! I found that when you wash the Jeep if your lean on the fender just a little bit the power washer will push them out. but for under $20 for the tubing why deal with it at all.

Could you just take a grinder and notch that corner out? Curious, as I was about to order those skids.

Stage 1: Modify to fit.

Had to finish up on the garden boxes for the wife first. Then I sat down to see what could be done to get the Evo skid into place.

Once the paint dries and I get back from seeing Endgame, I'll fit this bad boy into place and feel a lot better about my oil pan and exhaust bits under there.

Also found more dried mud I missed. Will get that while I'm at it as well.

Now it fits: EVO Manufacturing JL ProTek Engine Trans Skid (30.1lbs)

Tighten things down after I put the exhaust loop skid in place. Wife called me back because we have an early show to catch.

Skids installed and I’m happy with it. Close to the exhaust but no rattles and it looks protected now.

The stock skid weighs in at 7.1lbs. I added 34.5lbs with the Evo skids. Even with the jumbo warn on front it doesn't seem to have settled more than 3/4" to maybe an inch up front.

Still avoiding a lift, but if I keep adding weight it may force me to get some stiffer springs.

Looks good, but seems like the front gas tank skid plate is left un-supported with the OEM transmission skid plate (if you can call it that) removed.

Yes, I didn't want to just grind the bolt off but it's left hanging for the next rock to bash.

I did grab and wiggle the plate and it's still somewhat solid. If nothing else, it's still a shield though not really as secured as before.

I'm going to have a look this weekend. Maybe I'll cut the support piece off the OEM plate and weld it to the side of the Evo one to support the tank skid, or maybe I have some stronger tubing in the shop that will work.

It’s the Dynamax muffler delete.

I’ve not quite decided on the sound. Was looking forward to the Borla climber and growl. This is more rough though you can at least hear it without any drone. It’s definitely a V6.

Going to live with it a bit more before deciding. It looses the huge can out back and gains clearance. So there is that.
