for under 140$ a wheel, it is going to be the choice for sure. I had a good deal on some Dirty life dt1 but just could not pull the trigger due to weight. next was quadratic 41 wheels. then after seeing the price on Amazon for the MR312 I was sold. looks like only a few left in stock now, but more on the way. if the price holds, they are in my cart to check out.

I love a nice looking WRX / STI with bronze wheels! Audi A3 5 door or WRX / STI hatchback is on my list for our next car when we replace the Impala. My brother has a really nice blue 2013, lots of fun. out here it would be a blast, and you see them a lot.

Rubi axles will take the 40’s only added 32lbs total over the 38’s, but working with a company to have swap brackets designed and go to one tons maybe even bigger tires then!!!

Spare Tire Mounted!


I spent quite a bit if time running around today but ended up with a spare tire!

Complete with Energy Suspension bumpers to keep things nice and tight.

I also took the end caps off. Because Jeep.

First impressions of the Patagonias: They do great in snow. New tire grip? We will see. They toss a lot more up being outside the fender, but we knew that. Not my preferred offset but she does feel more planted.

The commute is mostly sub 60ish but tire noise changed, without really getting louder. The tire feels more directional, in that they seem to track better and turn better. So far, I really like them. I can't wait to try them up in the hills.

Bestop Trektop NX installed!

The soft top arrived one day after I was notified it was shipped. Not surprising as they are right up the road, but it was fast.

The first step was to take the hard top and Sunrider off.

After we lay out all the goodies of coarse.

Sunrider removed, Loki had to see what was going on. Gotta love the build quality on these tops.

Hard top removed and stored with ratchet straps for added piece of mind.

So many bits and pieces.

Had to line them all up and compare to the included parts list.

The windows were all nicely wrapped and in great shape. Why is there a giant reflective branding on the back? That was not expected. There are already Bestop tabs to identify the manufacture.

Door frames in like a glove.

The bows went in without too much trouble. Warning: Don't use an impact drill to bolt things down.

Everything is new and not warmed up yet, so the back window didn't zip. Once warmed up and stretched a bit, I'll be able to zip the window closed.

The top does fit very snug all around.

All done and out for a day of fun!

For whatever reason I always need to make it harder. Can’t pivot the plate up for the forward mounts because the plate hits this part of the tank shield?

I think the 2 door fuel tank is more forward than on the 4 door. Will see what Evo says.
