Calling this the "ketchup" build since I missed the whole JK generation and feel I'm behind the power curve of building a 2020 JLUR that was recently purchased. Browsing thru all the other build threads on this forum has really helped me ketchup with what works and doesn't work for the new JL so a public thank you to all who post in this section. I still own a TJ/60s/40s/coilovers/stretched/LS3/atlas etc that has become more of a trailer queen over the years and in my opinion more obnoxious than not so the direction for this build is to really pull the reigns back and keep it streetable, but add a touch more offroad capability so I ordered a bunch of stuff:
2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon/2.0T/Non-eTorque
Mods:
Accutune 2.5" Stage 4 Lift, 2.5" Fox shocks w/DCS adjuster
Fox Gen2 IFP 2.0 Series Bump Stops, Front and Rear
Warn Zeon 10-S Platinum Winch
Warn OE Rubicon Winch Plate
37x12.50R17 Cooper STT Pros
Rusty's Hinge Spare Tire Carrier
1.75" Spydertrax wheel spacers to run the stock rims for now
Artec Fully Bellypan Skids - Aluminum
Artec Apex Front Axle Armor Kit, D44
Artec Rear Truss, D44
Artec Rear LCA Skids, weld-on
Dana Spicer 4.88 gears F/R
E-Locker Sensors; potted F/R
Reid Racing Knuckles
Dynatrac HD Balljoints
Doestch Off-road 2in aluminum tie rod/draglink kit
Fox TS steering stabilizer and relocation kit
Borla Climber Touring Cat-back exhaust
RockJock JL Frontend Housing Johnny Joint Kit; RJ-301000-103
Front RCVs w/FAD
Rear Dana Spicer Chromoly Axle Shafts
Adams Driveshaft Rubicon F/R 1350 Extreme Duty Series driveshafts
Nemesis Titan Tub Armor
Nemesis Billy Rockers
Z Automotive Tazer Mini
Cool Tech JL Wrangler Powerport Kit
Weight after build: ~5580lbs
Regearing and beadlocks are in the future but after already running trails like Ironchest and others here in Colorado I knew I needed to get more ground clearance from dragging the jeep over a rock or 12 so now that I have some time this week I'm gonna get the JL up on jacks after work today and start installing the lift.
June 2023: Added beadlocks and 38's:
