i had the cmm on my 2019 they fit perfect either way , in order to use at the bottom you have to swap sides , they work great .

now after the 2019 was totaled - i cant use 2019 mounts they will not fit the 2024 4xe at all
and im not about to use new mounts for the price . im sure 100% you cant use the mounts in the configuration u had it - the 2024 dash sits taller and this is why you got the issue you got . its part user error part cmm fault for listing it this way

i couldnt even use my anvil overland dash mount window bar because the dash sits taller and the bar hits the radio - so that was sold as well

hinge mounted cheap mirrors save the day

sorry about your dash that sucks

It looks to me like maybe you used the passenger side bracket on the driver's side, and vice versa. I'm not sure if that's even possible, but it's maybe worth double checking that to be sure
to use these mirrors on the bottom thats how you use the mounts , you revese the driver for passenger - and this is why the cmm wont work like that on the 2024 taller dash.
they were never really designed to work at the bottom on older version either - but members figures flipping the mounts fixed the issue - i used them both ways never had issue.
but 2024 is a total new design so the old ones dont work - and the new ones will only work at the top

Absolutely user error, I wont try to deny that. Honestly too, I'm not that mad about the dash. I have 2 boys, 10 and 6. I'm surprised its taken this long for something to get messed up. Plus, once you scratch/dent/tear something its yours right?

I just wish they had said on the website that the lower mounting option would not work on the 24's. It probably would have changed my mind about ordering them. The worst part is that it could very easily work, they would just need to turn down the thumb screw on the back of the arm about 1/8". I work in a machine shop, I might just do that myself so I can use them set up that way, or just make my own set of that are smaller.

I will say other than the mounting issues, the mirrors themselves are great. Zero vibration and almost a better view than with the stock mirrors. After years of buying cheap mirrors to use on my motorcycles, I've learned not to cheap out on them, especially if you want to see out of them haha.

I just installed mine on my ‘22. I found there was a left & right. The ‘24 dash definitely looks taller though. Here’s the clearance that I have on mine.

It's a 24+ specific issue. I had the CMM mirrors on my 18 mounted on the bottom, they do not fit on the bottom with the new ones. I probably would have gone another route if I'd have known before. They get in the way mounted on the top and are right in your view when pulling out into the road.

I “spoke” with them via Facebook comments today. They said they are aware of the issues on the 24’s and are working on a solution that will be available soon. They also said it doesn’t appear to be ever 24, because some customers have said they fit with no issues.
