Any thoughts on 1” ball vs 20mm?

I’m not sure I’d use ball at all but curious which to go with for accessories/ resale.

Thx!

I went with no ball. I don't fell like hanging a $1000 phone out that exposed off the side. If I want to do a GoPro later, I can add off the existing ball behind the mirror.

I went with the 1" balls and have a couple of phone holder systems on order, one arriving tomorrow, and the Quad Lock one hopefully later in the week (edit: Just got update, coming tomorrow too).

I ordered for my iPhone 11 the following:

UNPKD Ram Mount X-Grip Holder with 1" rubber ball (RAM-HOL-UN7BU)
RAM Double Socket Arm - Standard 3" (RAM-B-201U)

and also:

Quad Lock 1" Ball Adaptor Motorcycle Kit - All iPhone Devices iPhone 11 / No SKU: QLK-BAL-IP11R
This kit consists of:
1 x Quad Lock Ball Adaptor Mount (QLM-BAL)
1 x Quad Lock Case - iPhone 11 (QLC-IP11R)

I need to pick up a second RAM Double Socket Arm, but will see how the standard length 3" one works first. Which ever system I like best goes on the driver side, the other one can go in another vehicle or I can mount it on the passenger side in the Jeep as the wife's iPhone XR will fit both systems too.
