There’s a few ‘18-‘19 used JLU’s for sale around me, wonder if the dealerships are going to fix them before selling.

A bit surprised only 33k JLs were made w/ MTs.
That, plus it states that 1% are estimated to have the defect. I wonder if that's accurate.

If so, I guess not all of us will be getting new clutches!

It sounds like the Clutch Pressure plate doesn't have enough clamping force ( weak springs) allowing the clutch disc to slip against the flywheel , creating heat, lots of heat.
The Low- Bid suppliers, lack of Quality Testing, systemic problems that will cost far more to remedy, than to have avoided by QUALITY CONTROL.
All of the vehicle manufacturers are having these issues, Toyota's Fuel pumps ( almost 2 MILLION) , Kia's catching fire, Subaru Class Action Lawsuit for defective windshields, the Bean Counters are not paying attention to the COST TO REMEDY their Low- Bidder approach.
Fight Club got it right:

A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.

I'm more frustrated because I was planning to go to a centerforce clutch, but now I can't or my vin will show unresolved recall
What is so great about the Centerforce clutch? Is it worth the upgrade for a guy with a stock 2-door Rubicon who is probably going no-bigger than 35” tires?

Is it 1% of all Jeeps sold? I was told by regional rep that all manual will be repaired. Maybe he is wrong.
