So I went to tighten the Ball Joints on my JL to alleviate the clicking noise. I noticed on my passenger side lower ball joint that the threads were stripped, and I could not tighten it. My question, I have after market wheels and tires. 33x12.5x17s to be exact. And I put them on my JLU Sport. Will the warranty still cover the Ball joint even though i have oversized tires?

Yes I can’t imagine changing tires would affect the warranty but I would not mention to them that you wrenched on the castle nut, just keep it simple and tell them about the clicking in the front end as I can only assume they have heard what’s causing this.

So you don't have the stock wheels and tires anymore? If I was in your place, I'd put my stock wheels and tires and and take it to the dealer then.
