Hello All! Just installed Toyo 35" Open Country Tires, Helo Rims, and the Tereflex Tire Carrier. The tire carrier is mounted on the gate and any road imperfections results in a constant clicking noise. Any advice or suggestion on how to better support the spare so it doesn't cause the extra stress/clicking on the gate? Thx!

Does the spare touch the bump stop?

It doesn't look to be.....looking to see if there's a way to adjust it. Maybe that's the quick fix....

Reading about the PVC fix. Looks like you may have done this too?
Many who have larger tires and/or wheels with more offset have done this to support the tailgate. I have stock tires, but wheels with 0 offset, which created a gap from the bump stop. A quick trip to the Home Depot/Lowe's will solve this.
