I find that after pushing apps on the screen there seems to be some spots on the screen. Does' anybody know a good cleaner

Any of the wipes used for cleaning computer/phone screens work well - no need for anything special

I use a microfiber cloth that I use to clean my eyeglasses with and works great. You don't need to use any glass cleaners or solutions just a good microfiber cloth is all you need.

I put on the Mopar screen protector, I know that it’s a little off topic, but now I have no worries about cleaning it!

I picked up a 2 pack for under $10, just generic Mopar 8.4”, not JL specific.

Beat me to it. I ordered a 2 pack early on also. Just wipe off, very easy.

But thats plastic and not glass, right?
Here is quote from Mopar Website:
"Media Center Screen Protector is made of tough, clear, static-cling film. This anti-glare and scratch-resistant protector also provides increased clarity. It does not negatively affect the touch screen accuracy and is removable with no damage to the media center screen. Fits 7.0 screen only."
So I'm assuming its some kind of plastic.

@stoowie I just took a look at things!
  1. I paid $15 for a 2 pack, not $10, and I got them on eBay
  2. I pulled the spare one out, it's not glass, its a semi rigid plastic
    1. Here is a good illustration: https://www.moparonlineparts.com/sku/82215337.html
    2. Although that page does specifically say "Made from tough, clear, static-cling film"
  3. My thinking at the time was that the touchscreen itself doesn't feel solid like my phone does, so in the event that I need to take it off, I don't want a solid screen protector on it
So far, it's worked out great for me. I use the glass screen protectors on all of the various handheld devices that we have around the house, but in this instance I intentionally chose not to go down that path.
