Looking to hit the beach this summer.

Have seen comments to wash under the car good and even attachments to a power washer that easily roll right under.

Is there anything in the engine bay that should not get wet when spraying up from underneath?

Do you need to get in the frame?

Anything else? Do people recommend fluid film to help?Would power washing just take off the fluid film?

From some of the reading I did this stuff lasts a while and stands up to pressure washing pretty well. I plan on applying every 6 months or so. I figure I can get 2-3 applications (maybe more if I get better at applying) per can. Better than nothing is what I am counting on....

Fluid film never fully dries and will be tacky. Sand will stick to it and make a mess. I not use fluid film for a Jeep that sees the sand.

I would simply take it to a touchless wash bay with an undercarriage cycle if you are so lucky, or whatever works for you to rinse the undercarriage really well.

I too drive on the beach often in the Summer months. I bought one of those pressure washer attachments (yes you need a pressure washer with a minimum of 1500psi, a garden hose won't work) from Amazon. I use the one below (about $30 and comes with the extension wands) and it works well for me, but there are plenty of other options. Plenty of people use a lawn sprinkler (the kind that shoots upwards), and hook up an old broom handle or a piece of rope to drag it back and forth under the vehicle. I don't have experience with that solution, I've just read about it here. I don't think you'll have a problem with the engine components unless you use a ridiculously high pressure or let it linger underneath the engine for a very long time, but that's just based on my experience with not having had an issue yet.
