I have a 4xe JLUR with 35" tires. My service tech in Maryland suggested Clayton Offroad suspension lifts, and I see you have 2.5" and 3.5" Overland Plus kits. I'm thinking about pairing them with Falcon 3.1s, not that interested in the adjustability, would likely set it and forget it. This is all backstory to my questions:

1. I believe I'm going to need new driveshafts for either. Comments?
2. The 4xe Rubicon has some kind of additional lift to handle the weight of the battery pack. I'm not sure what that translates to in real-world difference, so I'm not sure whether to lean towards 2.5" or 3.5" kits. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Gary!

You don't absolutely need to install a new driveshaft, it really just comes down to how often you plan on wheeling the Jeep and really flexing it out. On-road/highway driving won't cause any sort of issues with the stock driveshaft even with the lift.

Our kits provide about .5" more lift than advertised, so the 4xe models actually gain the exact advertised height. The 2.5" kit will allow you to run up to 37's, and the 3.5" kit up to 39's. We also have our 1.5" kit available that allows Rubicon models to perfectly fit a set of 35's!

If you're looking for Falcon 3.1 shocks, we have a ton available and will also be discounting them very soon!

What do you recommend for a 2023 Rubicon XR 4dr? I eventually want 37s when the 35s are done. Would like to stick with the factory wheel. Do they have the correct specs? Have been looking at the 2.5” Overland. Full kit with shocks, steering stabilizer, etc. I do intend to take off-road. I don’t want to rock crawl, but have already been flexed out several times on the trail. Will I need driveshaft upgrade?

Hey Clayton dude, looking seriously at a 2024 4 door rubicon 3.6 with 4.88 gears. I’ve read on your website that the 2.5” overland+ kit will fit 37s. That’s the route I’m looking at with Method 703s and Nitto Trail Grapplers. 75% Costco runs and 25% playing in Moab. All good?

I got one of these! Fits my true 37s with no problem. The bump stops are actually too large, I have about an extra 3 fingers when I’m fully compressed. I’d buy it again.
