New 1.5" kits now available for pre-order!

We know it's been a long wait, as we were not able to get our brand new order of springs as quickly as we originally hoped due to pandemic delays, but we are now officially one month away from the arrival of our brand new coils!

1.5" kits are available in any one of our three tried and true suspension systems (Ride Right, Overland Plus, and Premium Series) and will also each be available in a diesel-specific option as well.

I will list all of the brand new part numbers below so you can easily find and click on the kit that works best for your application, but if you have any questions on which option to go with feel free to shoot us a message or give us a call! All kits work the same between 2 and 4 door JL's, with the exception of the Ride Right kits which you need to choose for 2 or 4 door models specifically.

Overland Plus:
Premium Series:
Ride Right:
All pre-orders placed for any one of these brand new kits will be shipped around the end of February when coils arrive.
I think the links for the 4dr Ride Right kits are reversed from what their description says. (Diesel links to non-diesel and nondiesel links to diesel) if that makes sense.

Wow decisions-decisions I was looking at the BDS suspension
BDS Suspension 1545FSL 3.5" Coilover Lift Kit
those coilovers seem to be the way to go and those fox shocks have proven themselves at least they did on my 2019 JLU-now for a JLUR there's so much. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you want to try a Ford Ranger lift kit on a JL, good luck I guess.

@Clayton Off Road is the 35” for Rubicons a hard figure for clearance at full flex or is it possible to stuff the mini 37 KO2 (range C) in there?
Also, do you recommend the Diesel kit for 4xe or is the main kit sufficient for the added weight?
The 37's will fit, you may just get some rubbing during flex, but for on-road use and highway miles you won't have any issues. Go with the standard gas kit for the 4xe as the diesel kit will create reverse rake which wouldn't be good. You'll still get a full 1.5" of lift as our springs give slightly more lift than advertised so nothing to worry about there :like: .

@Clayton Off Road What is your recommendation on replacing stock shocks when moving to the 1.5? (JLUR)
We recommend either going with a set of shocks designed for at least 2" of lift like the Fox 2-3" package found in the related items section on our site, or at the very least a set of shock extensions as the factory shocks will be too short to bolt up properly. Shock extensions will not gain you any additional travel, and so are not as good as an option as a new set of shocks designed for lifted vehicles, but it is a good temporary solution if you're looking for something quick and easy.

Which kit would you recommend for improving on road driving, currently running plastic bumpers, but plan on adding steel bumpers front and rear? Also looking for the kit that has maintenance free joints on control arms and track bars.

Either the Overland Plus or Ride Right kit would be your best option. Overland Plus if you plan on doing a mixture of on and off-road driving, Ride Right if the vehicle is used primarily for on-road driving and you aren't concerned with off-road performance. :like:

We always try to create suspension systems that are an upgrade over stock ride quality, and so for the JL we got rid of the overly floaty, squishy sort of feeling the stock suspension has and replaced it with a much more controlled, firm but very comfortable riding suspension. Our systems allow you to properly dial everything in, so there's no worrying about any sort of harshness from anything being bound up due to incorrect geometry, everything is smooth, quiet, and all-around comfortable :like:

this entire reply reads like suspension porn.
