OK, You've decided on your trailer, brake controller and WDH. You are still concerned about your OEM hitch. Go to a couple of RV dealers in your area and ask their shop who they farm out hitch work to. There has to be a good welding shop in your area that specializes in custom hitches. It should be possible to get them to inspect and replace/modify the OEM hitch to properly install a receiver compatible with a WDH. When you get all set up, be sure to inflate your tires to handle the extra load. BTW even the best WDH will not compensate for an inadequate hitch weight. Be sure to keep 10-15% of the trailer weight on the ball. You will need to weigh the rig loaded ready to travel to get that number.
