Driving on a trail with doors off and noticed a click sound getting off throttle from the transfer case in 4 low. It sounds like gear lash or something loose. Just one click every time you let off the throttle.

I've driven on trails before and didn't hear this type of noise, but I had doors and roof on.

No other weird noises except the occasional moaning/complaining sounds from my spouse.

Probably tension being released on the chain then the slack being taken out when the rpms catch back up.
