Circling Lake Powell

Just got back from an 8 night, 2500 mile trip from Austin to Utah and back. Slept in the Jeep the entire trip and explored Glen Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante, Hole in the Rock Road, The Burr Trail, The Waterpocket Fold, Bears Ears, and Monument Valley. Loved every minute of it and experienced some incredible places. The Jeep handled incredibly well as it passed 75,000 miles.

What an epic trip, we did Burr trail and the ferry last year.

Did you go all the way to hole in the rock? Is it doable with JLUR on 35's?

What were your sleeping arrangements like? We’re you literally IN the Jeep, or do you have a rooftop tent or something?

Yes all the way to the Hole in the Rock. Easily doable with 35’s or stock for that matter. It was a pretty impressive story and amazing feat. Hard to even imagine.
I travel solo most of the time so I just use a sleeping pad and bag in the back with the seats down.

Did you air down for anything on that route?

Toasting the finest campsite ever! (Despite the crazy strong wind)
I am still editing pics from my camera so the cell phone shots will have to due for now.
I did air down to 20 leaving the pavement in Big Water just for comfort and aired back up in Escalante. I stayed aired up for the Burr Tr and then of course on the paved road the rest of the trip.
