My assumption is that the left hand didn't talk to the right hand. The car gets turned in at the dealer, the paperwork goes into the system, someone sitting in a cubicle clicks a checkbox on the computer (or it automatically gets checked based on date) and off it goes.Good to hear you got things resolved.
Which begs the question, why did they make up all those additional charges for? Their “customer satisfaction” numbers came in too high and wanted to bring them down a tick...?
