Awesome build...I second throwing a couple washers on the steering stops. What wheels and backspacing are you looking at?

What did.you cover back of foglights with
Some plastic covers a member here made. They’re not perfectly sealed or tight fitting, but they act as a splash guard and are better than nothing I suppose.

Nice wheels...I ran a quadratec wheel with same specs for a year on 35s and it worked well...no rubbing while flexing it. If you're gonna run 37s and don't want it to rub while flexing, go with less backspacing. On 37s, 4.75 backspacing or less is recommended by most lift MFG's. For example, 4.5 or less backspacing is recommended with 37s by Metalcloak and Rock Krawler.

So I’ve been hearing a clunk noise when applying the brake and sometimes when accelerating from a stop. Not really loud and difficult to pinpoint, although it sounded like it was underneath and toward the rear. Made sure everything inside was securely stowed. Had me baffled and I was going to have someone check it out when I took it in to a shop to install light and compressor wiring. Then today it came to me. I checked the spare and sure enough all 3 lugs were loose. I had only tightened them by hand the last time I put it back in place and forgot to tighten them down all the way. It was shifting around on the studs with every momentum change. Idiot!

Not required. I run 37” KM3 on AEV JL Pintler wheels that are 5.77” of backspacing with no rubbing.

I got my Ram Mount in and installed it. 5 minutes to install the base, another 5 to install the arms and accessories to mount the GoPro cam and iPhone. It certainly looks and feels a solidly built and well engineered product. I’m at home (like many of us right now) so no opportunity to test it driving on the road or trail, but I can tell that it won’t move or rattle.

I put on Mopar Roof rack in anticipation of a trip this fall that might not happen now. Thanks to @paulr for the idea and materials for red accents in the Jeep logo and the black vinyl wind dampers on the bottom of the rails; and for the idea for security screws to fasten the clamps and lock cores for a little extra security.

I got a pair of Baja Designs Squadron Pro lights mounted on the front bumper bar. They are small but they put out a LOT of light. I’ll get a night photo and post here soon.

I also finally got around to getting a couple of things done with parts I’ve had waiting around forever to be installed. Tactical Recovery Equipment winch line thimble.

And the Brawlee tailgate LED light. Switch mounted on the rear of the trim on the left side roll bar base. I used some stick on Velcro strips to mount the remote out of the way on the outside of the hi lift jack mounting bracket.

So for about a month I’ve had the dash lights lit up like a Christmas tree. No cruise control, FCW, or emergency braking. It started just before wiring up the ARB twin compressor. I paid it no mind and thought maybe it’d go away. It didn’t.

So I dropped it off at the dealership on Monday. Service writer read the codes and asked if I’d ever jumped the battery. “Yes, once.” Could be the auxiliary battery, should know by tomorrow. Ok. Friday rolls around and I haven’t heard anything back. I call and she has no update. Can’t remember my vehicle. (I strongly suspect that it got parked and forgotten about) She will see what’s up and call me back. Calls back after a while and states that both batteries are good but 3 fuses blown. Hmm... I tell her that the winch has been installed and operating normally for a year. The compressor and off road lights are recent, but the malfunction occurred BEFORE they were installed. She says they checked the wiring to rule out the aftermarket stuff and everything is good. So the next step is to replace the main fuse box and see what’s up. Stay tuned...

I just got a call from the dealership that my Jeep is repaired and as good as new. Let’s hope so!

The service advisor told me that they replaced the fuse block, auxiliary battery, and passenger seat airbag detector module. OK. I’ll post the ticket that details the work after I pick it up later today.

So it seems to be fixed. No lite dash lights. They also apartment my updated software to the latest version. I unmarried and removed my Tazer before taking it in. I notice different messages in the Stop/Start status menu that I never noticed before.

Also on the way home from the dealership there was another message that I’d never noticed before “Stop/Start not ready battery charging”. Maybe these aren’t new (I’ve had Stop/Start disabled for a long time using the Tazer), but they’re new to me.
