I feel like stuff always happens to me! I noticed today above the door on the (non painted) hardtop is chipped where you can see white underneath. I only have 556 miles on it and just go to work and back wtfff? I thought these things would hold up better.

All Wrangler hardtops are painted. You happen to have a hardtop painted black. Go here for info on Mopar touch-up paint for your hardtop.

Always try to find the bright side in situations. You could be the poor bastard that posted on here he forgot to latch his freedom top and hit the road only for it to fly off, hit the road, and be run over! :)
Oh wow, that blows! but yeah, chips and things will happen, especially when removing / storing the top.

Use a Sharpie. It's quicker and cheaper and you'll almost never see the difference.

Yup, permanent black fine point sharpie works great on small white specks especially.. Of course, the proper touch-up paint is best but....

Black painted hard tops are or at least on the JK scratched and chipped easily. That’s why I will go with a painted hardtop this time.
