I ordered a fairly well optioned Rubicon but a base 2 door with A/C would have easily given me YEARS of fun as well.

I think you can still buy a fully stripped down wrangler sport with no AC. The OP asked for one option and AC is a must for me.

You don't add AC, however you can delete it.

I'm a bells and whistles kind of guy. A short wait for a compromise brings more agony than a longer wait for what you really want. If time is on your side, squirrel away until you don't have to compromise.

Really though. If would build up money till you are totally comfortable and then pull the trigger if you are driving something that is reliable and safe right now.


That’s what I’m doing with my bass boat. I want a new one right now but do I really need one right now? No so I’m waiting till I can build it out exactly how I want from day 1. It’s killing me but I don’t want to run myself thin in case something comes up in life. I’m cheap but not cheap in life. I think it’s more I want but then worry afterwards.

You can still buy a bare bones jeep...6 speed, no a/c (I did)...

I think hard top for me...I have both and like the option...

8.4 Screen was mandatory on my jeep search. However, I probably wouldn't have purchased any jeep if it didn't have the LED package as well.
