That thing will generate huge downforce from that front "wing/bumper", and probably corners harder than the new Corvette. :)

Man that’s ugly but the funny thing is that Jeep would probably be popular in the ghetto.

That Renegade is a classic!:movember: While not as desirable as the CJ-5s, still more desirable than the Jeep that wears that name now:puke:
Well, I would agree that the YJ is a classic, and I would love to have one, but probably never will at this point. That YJ Renegade plastic never sat well with me, though, then or now. If I were to get a YJ, it would be a '94 or '95 soft-top Sahara.

But yeah, I agree that you have to be very careful about saying "that's a cool Renegade" these days. Gotta make sure you qualify it with "CJ", "YJ", or "Wrangler" to avoid embarrassing yourself.

I’ve decided that I want one. I wonder if it’s still available?

Well...there is one built similarly where I live and drive. I wave...but it’s a spastic, involuntary flailing of my hand as my guts heave and I puke into my mouth a little.

Any mod that detracts from the classic Wrangler look is a no-go in my unneeded opinion.

And to think someone stood back , looked at that thing and said,”Oh hell yeah, I nailed it.”
You think maybe it's one of those things like plastic surgery, where it's just ONE LITTLE thing, then one thing leads to another and you realize you've become an inhuman monster, barely recognizable but so far gone there's no turning back?

Its original owner may have realized it's not the chick magnet he'd hoped it would be. I really only have one rule for Wranglers: don't mess with the iconic Jeep grille!
