Good tip. Amazon delivers the Jack pads for free for the same price. My HD doesn't carry them.

Looks like you lose at least 1.5" with the lift collar and the Jack has
Minimum height (in.) 9 in.
so you're now taller than the axles with a flat tire.

Just an update, recently added a bottle jack, this Harbor Freight 8 ton should suffice.

And an axle buddy type DIY adapter (I wouldn't jack an axle without one). The axle buddys are kinda crazy priced, if you have a welder you can make your own w/ a threaded nipple and a small piece of channel iron for about $5-10 :)

The same thing I was about to post. As of jack pads my go to if low tech.....

I use 12"x12" 3/4 Plywood, because it is laminated, and will not split or crack like 2x4, 6s boards will , especially on rough ground. Easy to store, easy to stack if needed.
And budget friendly
