So I used "Sugru" as recommended by a couple of forum members to block the freedom top rain gutter front end. It works surprisingly well. My wife literally laughed at me, "are you using play-doh on your jeep?"
The end result is good and very low profile, yet to be rain tested, but I sprinkled some water on it and all flowed backward so I call that a win.
It is a very easy mod, and better quality control than silicon caulk, very easy to mold into shapes you like. I did add some contour to it so the gutters remain functional when it is torrent rain! One packet of Sugru is more than enough for both sides. However the minimum you can order is 3 I believe, so save that for other things around the house.
