Charging Station Federal Tax Credit

I was researching installing a Level 2 charger for my new 4xe and found out that we can receive a federal tax credit of 30% of the cost of purchasing and installing an EV charging station (up to $1,000 for residential installations) until Dec 31, 2021. This makes getting and installing a station a little more affordable to me. I thought I would pass on this information to anyone that was interested in buying a level 2 charger.

Thanks Bohunker. I saw that same thing and pulled the trigger on the purchase and installation. Locally will cost me 1300 to run 220v to the garage and connect everything up.
