Anyone else notice that when ordering a wrangler sahara with auto and remote start they're charging $1,000 more for a V6 and the 2.0L is no additional charge. When did they start offering 2 different types of V6 engines and why does remote start only work with one of the V6 but not the other?

The upcharge is for the eTorque version, which is a required configuration with the 8 speed auto.

It’s a new change for 2020 to offer two different V6’s. Also Jeep increased the price to $1,250 for the 3.6 BSG

Automatic = 3.6 w/ eTorque
Manual = 3.6 w/o eTorque

You can only get factory remote start with the automatic transmission
