After two years, tons of fun, and many good memories, I’ll be closing the chapter on my JLUR. Need a truck for the future, and my wife hates the Gladiator (not to mention all the “Jeep things”). Trading in my rig for a 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro.

I’ve been around forums for about 15 years, and have never seen such a great, insightful, and mature group of individuals. I’ll still be poking around here every once in a while. Really appreciate all the good advice, adventure stories, and good times sharing perspectives.

And if anyone is interested in my rig (Coal Fire on the build/rigs forum), it’ll be for sale at Lia Jeep in Colonie, NY (near Albany).

I traded my '14 Rubicon in and eventually got a '17 Tacoma TRD Off Road. It was a mistake. The new Taco sucks. Sorry, not what you probably want to hear but they do. The auto trans is garbage.

This is mine after I lifted it and I still didnt like it after that. Sorry.

 trade the wife in for a Gladiator:whatsgoingon::devil:

All kidding aside, at least you got to enjoy the Jeep. My daughter used to hate Jeeps and think I was crazy for loving them. Then, someone got to learn to drive in a brand new one:rock: Guess who has put more miles on it? Enjoy your new purchase:like:

Unfortunately, you're not alone :( . I trade in my 2013 JKU for a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off road 8 months ago, and I'm totally regretted. It's not fun anymore. The auto transmission constantly shifting make me sick... Looking for a JL in the future...

I'm going in the opposite direction. Eventually trading in my 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro for a JLUR diesel. Toyota is a great truck and the TRD Pro is even better. Miss my Jeep and WANT the diesel. Driven 2 of them and love it.

Best of luck and I hope you don't mind but the bottom picture is now my favorite desktop background on all my devices.
Best picture shot I have seen. Thanks.
