Chainsaw roof rack mount

Anyone mounted a chainsaw to their roof rack? I've looked around a bit, and other than a ratchet strap I'm not terribly impressed.

Anyone mounted a chainsaw to their roof rack? I've looked around a bit, and other than a ratchet strap I'm not terribly impressed.

You might be able to scrounge up some universal brackets if the chainsaw were in a basic container... like a molded sleeve.

I think a cargo basket mounted above the spare would be better suited. Possibly even a waterproof bag to slip the saw in would be a good idea as well.

The more videos I watch the more I think keeping a chainsaw on board is a good idea!
