Thats really odd, the issue on engineer. Nowhere on that trail is rough enough or difficult enough to have a structural part like that fail. 100% had to be a defective weld, but as you noted the "juice isn't worth the squeeze" to fight jeep on it. Absolutely love the San Juans!

Awesome to hear all else has been uneventful!

Everything I’ve heard about the 3.6 has been excellent reliability wise for the later JK’s and JL’s. (A few friends of mine have earlier 3.6’s like 2013-2015ish and they have all had issues with the cooling system.)

I’m sure it will easily get you another 200k.

How on earth are you getting almost 20MPG?? Haha my 3.6 stock Rubicon averages 14!
I'm usually the only one in it and my gear is sparse and light. I can fit everything in the back with seats upright, and still see out the back window.
No winch, no gear strapped outside, stock tires.
Spent about 300 nights sleeping in the back in some amazing places.

Living the jeep life!😍

I’m fully stock too. What tire pressure are you running if you don’t mind me asking?

Congratulations! Jeep should hire you as their spokesperson!

Interesting to see that even a happy 100,000-mile, (mostly) trouble-free Jeep owner still gets treated by his dealer like everyone else.

Only issue so far is my rear axle failed this week after installing wheels/lift/37s.
How did the rear axle fail? Like, did it come out from under the Jeep??

These things aren't built like Toyotas ya know...
