CB or GMRS Mic hangers

What is going on with Mic hangers....they appear to sold out of everything. Any ideas where you can get a good one that does not require drilling into the dash?

Idk if magnetic mic is sold out, or available. You will need to drill 2 small holes, but it is an ideal solution.

Alternatively, magnetic tape, and a magnet on the radio mic is a pretty effective solution as well.

Im using the passenger grab handle mount from JeepUniq. It’s sturdy and doesn’t slide around.

My wife is not excited about the location of that holder. Seems to hang right in to the passenger leg space area. I have it a look but a no go at this point. I also looked at the bullet point mounting system which I use for my phone and a camera but they are sold out of arms and the mic holder.

CoolTech #JL18CTMICM, JL Mic Mount Bracket, $28.00. Does not include the mic clip and will have to drill holes into the bracket to accommodate the clip. Installing the bracket on the grab handle requires partial removal of the A/C cluster face plate. Trim tools are required and be gentle but forceful. The mic is intrusive to the radio tune knob and most likely will bump your radio station selection. I rate it a 7 out of 10.

Well shit! Same bracket, 1/2 the price and you get the clip. I suck!

I purchased this one a year ago and have not had any issues. It was easy to install with the same radio installed.

I didn't want to drill into my dashboard either and the double-sided tape that came w/the Midland holster was too weak. I tried some stronger double-sided tape from Home Depot but that eventually gave out as well.

Ultimately, the fix was 2 small pieces of hook/loop velcro that has held like a champ.

That is awesome!! I have been getting stick on cell phone mount magnets and putting them on the mic posts.
