Which GMRS radio are you using?
Sorry for all the questions. I'm looking at putting a radio in my Wrangler and was originally thinking a CB. But I'm reading a lot of posts that are saying everyone is moving to GMRS. I am so new to GMRS.

I had a 450XC-W for a couple years and I have a 500 XC-W now. They make the best woods bike out there, in my opinion. My skill level is about a 2 out of 10 when compared to those crazy hare scrambler guys. Lol

No issues at all with the hardtop. I can see some range deduction, but I don't need 30+ miles out of a radio for my purpose. Being a fiberglass top, the range loss should be minimal.

Sweet! had me a 500exc sold it and bout a can am though. Ill eventually get another when my sons old enough to ride. Love those bikes. Everyone in the family had ktms. 525, 530, 500, 300xcs and a few 250s this was mine.
