We have seen people do just about everything. Powder coating tends to be most popular. Others will do a couple coats of primer and then rattle can as its easier to touch up. Others have done a spray on liner (raptor liner, etc).

Typically no, but this year yes. Material costs have gone up so much we have been unable to run any sales this year aside from Black Friday. Otherwise we would have to raise all of our retail pricing and then offer a sale to bring it back down to the level it was before (which doesnt make a lot of sense to us and doesnt save you guys anything).

That said we always have an active JLForum discount code that works on the carrier.

Thank you for the reply on both posts. By any chance do you have any pictures of the backside of the carrier? I wanted to see how accessible some of the areas are for surface prep if I was to do my own coating.

Plan to use self etching primer, if I can find it that is its a joke that the spray paint cabinets are bare at the local stores. F*** you covid. Then use good ole rustoleum satin black enamel.
