I’d Rather Talk Jeep’s!
The past couple nights I caulked the large gap between the fender and body. Here’s before:

Jeep Wrangler JL Caulked the Fender Gaps 9075E693-D5E0-4DAD-8F7D-0B8610077AB7

I quite simply used a couple small picks to lightly pry the fender away so the rocks fell into the wheel well (and I thought I heard them fall to the floor).

One night I caulked a small bead and smoothed with my pinky. The next night I did the same and built up the previous bead. I didn’t tape it as I didn’t care about perfection, but it looks great IMO and NO MORE DANG ROCKS! :like:

I didn’t realize how deep the front fenders were so I have a caulking tube extension on order and will do the same to the fronts.

I’ve used the same GE Advanced Silicone Caulk on my Yukon with great results as well…

And @Chocolate Thunder was skeptical of this and wanted some pics, so here you are! 😉

Looks like I thought it would. But if you like it, don’t worry what I think. Except for angry grilles. Everyone should hate those as much as I do.

When the caulk was wet, he should've sprinkled on some glitter. That would've been cool.

Well, people say that foam roll stuff disintegrates, so maybe this is a pretty nifty option. Just might make taking your fender off harder haha… hey, harder to rip off on a trail, too!

Thanks. Was asking for a pic of how it looks tucked alongside your fender.

I don't have a photo. It's pretty inconspicuous, and it keeps those little rocks out of the seam.
