As a couple others said, yes, I’d call that a catastrophic failure of the hose. If the word “hose” was added to the subject title, then all these people ragging on you would have to vent somewhere else.
Not really

Everyone knows that having two batteries, the start/stop feature on and not equipped with an engine cover will create a catastrophic failure in any Wrangler. Oh wait, the 2.0 still has an engine cover. Sorry, not a catastrophe. :CWL::CWL::CWL::CWL:

Bunch of sad losers who can’t understand that words in English are multi-faceted

The hose blowing it’s load all over this guys jeep caused him “emotional damage” winch can be classified as a “catastrophic” failure. Furthermore, the “sad losers” which I’ve come to love and respect on this forum are/have added to that “catastrophic failure.”

Jackass (aka Al) included his name in his profile. It helps convey gender to other people so that they can use the correct words. I would argue "guys" is multi-faceted and isn't exclusively masculine, but "guy's" is definitely masculine and the word he meant to use.

I get it. If you had titled this thread Catastrophic Dealership Failure, nobody would've cared because that's a Tuesday. We would've simply nodded and moved on.

You call a blown hose, a catastrophic failure?
I’ve got one for you. Just put in a new engine. Drove on it for 6 weeks (approx 5,000 miles) before I got a dreaded engine code…turns out. Complete internal engine failure…on my new engine. 3.6L. Currently at dealership and working with them to get everything replaced. Metal fragments throughout entire engine. ?‍♀
