Why do you keep calling it a misdemeanor? It's gonna be grand Theft in most states. Florida is now $750 or more it use to be $300 but they recent upped it to $750. Definitely gonna be a felony in most states. Alot of states also would feel that burglary of a conveyance. Not condoning deadly force to defend property if your state prohibits that.what state/local law do you have that you think allows you to use threat of lethal force with a deadly weapon to detain someone for suspicion of a misdemeanor crime?
