So...noticed interior cover on the front right wheel well was damaged. I'm guessing someone stole or tried to steal the right side catalytic converter based on diagrams but not sure...

Is the goldish metallic piece in the picture the CC, can anyone tell from the pics of anything is missing?

Parked overnight in a casino/ convention center garage in Las Vegas FWIW.

That looks like the location of the cat.
Nothing looks messed up
That cat bolts up to the exhaust manifold near there then they would have to cut under the Jeep. Nothing to cut above except remove bolts.

Also no check engine light. Does that immediately come on if the CC is missing?

And didn't sound any louder than normal...

Really appreciate the insights.
