Your shop is thinking JK, with JLs two pc axle there’s no vibration because the front driveshaft doesn’t spin in 2wd.

2-Door Rubi, Mopar lift + (full set adjustable IR control arms, full Steer Smarts set-up plus other goodies) running 35" KO2's on 17x8.5 wheels and have caster set at 6.7 left and 6.9 right. Handles great and is still smooth up to 97mph (wasn't paying attention to speed on long stretch and happened to glance down at speedo...)

Caster will be effected, if you sag 3/4" from bumper winch etc then you would have increased caster. Think it's roughly 1 degree per inch so in that case your caster would go up .75 give or take.

Mine took 6.5 to really get it to drive good, have not tried any higher. What everyone is posting, 6-7 degrees seems to be the norm.

Hi all. I just had a Clayton Off Road Overland+ 3.5in full suspension installed along with Fox 2.0 shocks and 37x12.50R17 KM3s. I am getting a decent amount of wandering especially on the highway. Attached are my alignment specs after the lift. Looks like my caster is only 4.4 and 4.5. Could this be causing the wandering?

Yes, that is likely the cause of your wandering. Need to shorten up the uppers or lengthen the lower control arms. (Or combo of both)

Thanks. I’ll give it a try. I’m a little concerned about tire wear with caster at 6. Anyone else have uneven wear or feathering?

No tire wear with caster, you’re probably thinking of camber, which isn’t meant to be adjusted on the jl.

How does it drive better with more caster? What improves?? Vibrations? Shaking? Wandering?

after I installed the lift kit with 37 mien startedshaking bad when Ihit a bump ... then I had the shop set my caster higher at 6.3-6.4 and take the metal cloak steering relocation bracket as it lookedkind off flimsy...

many ride is wayyy better .. but I don’t know if it’s the caster or the Going back to stock steering stabilizer location
