Porsche Macan would be my only choice.
My 911 was one of the best vehicles ever owned.
Although I just can’t part with my 05 Silverado 2500HD

My Range Rover Sport Supercharged is the best daily driver I’ve ever owned. I like it as much as my 392, but for different reasons. If I couldn’t have a Wrangler as a toy then it would have to be a Porsche 911 or a built 70s Bronco or K5 Blazer.

I see most people don't buy a jeep for jeep type things. Most of these second options are at a completely opposite end of the spectrum.
This is true. Per both Doug Demuro and Alex Dykes, the most commonly cross shopped vehicle for the Jeep Wrangler is… a Ford Mustang convertible. For a lot of us, it’s the second car. The “fun” car.

The typical buyer profile for a Jeep Wrangler isn’t a true hard core offroader. If this was the case, the Rubicon would be your base model, with every model featuring front and rear lockers. We would have factory options for winches and roof racks. We don’t - and the four door outsells the two door by a two to three, three to four margin. It will be interesting to see how many base Bronco’s get specced with the Sasquatch package.

Stick is a must for me. I would’ve kept my ‘19 rebel if I couldn’t get my manual wrangler.

now that you can get a bronco in stick shift, that’s likely the only vehicle I’d trade my wrangler in for, for as long as both vehicles offer stick shift

I drove the first one in America.
My friend brought one home for the weekend since her boss let her take it as a reward. She was high up in the JLR Irvine location.
At that time it was the first one JLR brought in the country as a demo.
Sure was a nice ride.
Sat-nav was amazingly bad though. Plus.. since it's JLR, the depreciation is catastrophic.

It was either a JLUR or an AMG GTC. Two polar opposites, but meh

Up until ~6 months ago, I was all set to replace my 07 GMC Sierra with a 21 Chevy Silverado. If Jeeps weren't around, that's probably what I would go with.

I love sitting "up" like a truck, but I've driven one for 15 years and never towed anything and have a bed cover on ~99% of the time, which is why I went Jeep.

In no particular order:

-A Toyota Land Cruiser
-A Mustang with a Tremec manual transmission
-A challenger with a V8 and manual transmission
-A 4Runner
-A Bronco, but only when they let you get the top engine choice with manual transmission and the Sasquatch package. Oh and two doors.

Probably a Land Rover Defender or a Bronco. A Defender with minimal nanny assists and options can be had right around $55k.
